COACHELLA VALLEY HOUSING COALITION
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve Final Map No. 29695 for Fomotor Engineering representing
Coachella Valley housing Coalition,to divide property located at 909, 921, 933, 945, 957,
969 and 999 Cottonwood Avenue and 970 and 990 Chuckwalla Road(APN 507-042-009,
010, 011 and 022), Section 11, T 4 S,R 4 E.
SUMMARY:
This action will approve Final Map No. 29695 creating nine (9) lots on the west side of
Avenida Caballeros between Chuckwalla Road and Cottonwood Road.
BACKGROUND:
Fomotor Engineering representing Coachella Valley Housing Coalition, requests that four(4)
parcels located at 909, 921, 933, 945, 957, 969 and 999 Cottonwood Avenue and 970 and 990
Chuckwalla Road, Section 11, T 4 S, R 4 E, be divided into nine (9) lots.
At its meeting of November 22, 2000,the Planning Commission recommended approval of
Tentative Tract Map No. 29695 which was subsequently approved by the City Council,
subject to conditions, on December 20, 2000.
The owner offers dedication to the public use for street and public utility purposes Lot"A.
It has been determined that required conditions have been satisfied, that the Final Map No.
29695 is in substantial conformance with the approved Tentative Map, and that the Final
Map No. 29695 is ready for City Council actions.

WHEREAS the Planning Commission, at its meeting of November 22, 2000_recommended
approval of Tentative Map No. 29695 requested by Fomotor Engineering representing Coachella
Valley Housing Coalition for the above described property, subject to conditions; and
WHEREAS the City Council, at its meeting of December 20, 2000 approved Tentative Map No.
29695 subject to conditions; and
WHEREAS the owner offers dedication to the public use for street and public utility purposes, Lot
„A„
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs finds
that Final Map No. 29695 is in substantial conformance with approved Tentative Map No. 29695
and has satisfied conditions as required, and is in conformance with the General Plan, and
conforms to all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California, and authorizes
the City Clerk to accept said offer of dedication, and the City Council does hereby approve Final
Map No. 29695 for property herein described.
