SUMMARY: John R Trueblood is providing architectural services for the City of Palm Springs, Department of Aviation (AIRPORT). Their work is specifically related to the expansion of the Airport fire station, which is being funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). BACKGROUND: John R Trueblood is conducting professional architectural services related to the expansion of fire station #2. The project has been under construction for the past 5 months. The amount of time spent by Mr Trueblood on this project has been greater than anticipated. This amendment does not change the scope of services, it merely reflects the change in the overall compensation by allocating an additional $10,000. Some of the work associated with this change order is due to delays in the building construction, which staff will negotiate with the building contractor for reimbursement.
