Dear. John,
Thank you for the opportunity to submit this proposal for landscape
architectural services for the design of Belardo Rd. streetscape. A project
of this nature will have�,hi,gh ,public exposure , as it will be neccessary to
create a %ransition between the existing landscape and the proposed
improvement .
The following is an outline of services we will provide and a response
to your requests.
I. Design Concept :
Develope a pleasing streetscape as a transition zone between urban
and natural landscape utilizing boulders and vegetation for grade changes,
and to soften the impact of the retaning wall.
2. Estimate of costs:
As it is difficult to estimate exact costs for design implementation
without finalized plans ,lass may range irons
Irrigation Installation - $4,000.00 to $6,000.00
Landscape Installation - $12,000.00 to $18,000.00

4. The scope of services we will provide is as follows:
1. Layouts / grading plan
2. Planting plan
3. Irrigation plan
4. Lighting plan
5. Construction details
6. Presentation e,irje'ring , meet with city of ficials , O'Connell golf course memh rs
7. Specifications
8. Four ( 4 ) Hours of construction observation
Compensation for the proposed services will he a lump sum of $3,860.00
If requested , additional construction observation and bid handling can be
obtained at a houly rate of:
Landscape architect $ 45.00 Hr.
Draftsperson $ 22.50 Hr
Miscellaneous charges (prints, copies, milage, ect . ) will be billed on
a reimbursable basis . Any revisions after approval of design concept will
be billed at the hourly rate.
