1 AGT3EEMENT FOR PERFORMANCE BY MO 2911, 3-4-81
2 HEALTH OFFICER OF CITY HEALTH FUNCTIONS
3 This agreement is entered into pursuant to the provisions
4 of Section 480 of the Health and Safety Code, by and between
5 COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE, herein called "County, " and CITY OF PALM
6 SPRINGS , herein called "City. "
7 1. The County Health Officer shall perform all of the
8 functions relating to the enforcement in the City of Palm Springs
9 Ordinance No. 1017 thereof relating to Restaurant Grading and
10 posting and the making of all inspections and the performance of
11 all functions in connection therewith.
12 2 . Payment for the performance of such services mentione
13 in Paragraph 1 herein shall be in the amount of $29. 00 annually
14 for each restaurant, located within the incorporated area of City
151 and as defined in Section 28522 of the Health and Safety Code,
16 and shall not be prorated. Said payment shall be made by each
17 person operating such a restaurant to the County Health Officer in
18 accordance with the City of Palm Springs ' comprehensive fee
19 1 schedule (as the same may be amended from time-to-time) .
20 3 . This agreement shall be effective from January 1,
21 1981 until the succeeding December 31, 1981, and thereafter on a
22 year-to-year basis from January 1 to the succeeding December 31st,
23 until terminated at the end of calendar year by written notice
24 given by either party to the other, not later than three (3)
25 months before the end of such calendar year.
26 4. This agreement supersedes and replaces that certain
27 Agreement for Performance by County Health Officer of City Health
28 Functions dated July 1, 1976 between the parties hereto relating

1 to Restaurant Grading and Posting, and any current renewal thereof,
2 which agreement and annual renewal are hereby cancelled by mutual
3 consent of the parties hereto.

MINUTE ORDER NO. 2911
TERMINATING AGREEMENT NO. 1230 ADOPTED BY
RESOLUTION NO. 11808 AND APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE PROVIDING THAT THE
COUNTY HEALTH OFFICER SHALL PERFORM ALL FUNCTIONS
RELATING TO THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS ORDINANCE NO. la17 RELATING TO RESTAURANT
GRADING AND POSTING, INCLUDING INSPECTIONS
CONNECTED THEREWITH.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that this Minute Order, terminating Agree-
ment No. 1230 adopted by Resolution No. 11808 and approving
an agreement with the County of Riverside providing that
the County Health Officer shall perform all functions re-
lating to the enforcement of the City of Palm Springs Ordin-
ance No. 1017 relating to Restaurant Grading and Posting,
including inspections connected therewith, was adopted by
the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, in
a meeting thereof held on the 4th day of March, 1981.
