AMENDMENT TO AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve an amendment to the Contract Services Agreement between
Palm Desert National Bank(PDNB)and the City of Palm Springs for automated teller machine
(ATM) supply and servicing, subject to City Attorney review as to form.
SUMMARY:
The requested action would continue the present Agreement with PDNB for a period of three
months to allow for the preparation and issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP)to provide
automated teller machine supply and servicing at Palm Springs International Airport.
BACKGROUND:
PDNB has provided ATM services to Palm Springs International Airport since June of 1998.
The initial Agreement was for a period of three years. A second Agreement was entered into
in 2001 and was later amended to extend the term until June 6, 2004. As there are no
extension options to the existing Agreement, an RFP process will be required. PDNB is
interested in continuing to provide ATM service at the Airport and has agreed to continue such
service until such time as the RFP is resolved.
The term of this amendment is for three months unless earlier terminated in accordance with
the existing Agreement. No other provisions of the Agreement are modified.
The amendment is attached and has recently been reviewed as to form by the City Attorney's
office and determined to be acceptable.
