Ready, City Manager BY: Human Resources SUMMARY The City Council will consider an amendment to the Services Agreement with Select Staffing to extend the not to exceed amount an additional $5,000 to continue to provide temporary clerical services in Finance. RECOMMENDATION: 1. APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH SELECT STAFFING TO INCREASE THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT BY $5,000 FOR A TOTAL CONTRACT PRICE OF $29,000 TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE SERVICES. 2. Authorize the City Manager to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this action. STAFF ANALYSIS: The City has utilized the services of Select Staffing who has provided temporary employees in both Finance and the Airport to cover vacant positions. Staff requests to amend the agreement with Select Staffing to extend the not to exceed amount by $5,000 for a total contract price of $29,000 to continue to provide temporary services in Finance pending the hire of a regular City employee. The current temporary employee has been working in Finance for three months and is familiar with the system. It is anticipated that a regular employee will be in place within five weeks.
