Ready, City Manager BY: Department of Aviation SUMMARY The requested action would result in City Council approval of Palm Springs International Airport Tenant Airline reimbursements in an amount of $35,713.45 for costs associated with the gate relocations to the new concourse. RECOMMENDATION: Approve reimbursement requests from Skywest Airlines - $26,684.00 and Horizon Airlines - $9,029.45 for costs related to gate relocations to the new concourse at Palm Springs International Airport (PSP). STAFF ANALYSIS: Skywest Airlines and Horizon Airlines are Signatory Carriers at PSP. Per Section 10.04 of the Airline Use and Lease Agreement "If an Airline is reassigned to a different gate, at the request of another Airline or the Airport, for its own reasons, the requesting Airline or the Airport, as applicable, shall pay for the reasonable costs of relocation." Both Airlines were asked by the Airport to move to the new concourse and subsequently the reimbursement requests were generated and are consistent with the agreement. The only other Airline that moved to the New Concourse at the request of the Airport was Mesa Airlines dba US Airways Express. Mesa Airlines did not submit a reimbursement request and has signed a General Release of Claims. Item 2 , 13 .
