Dear Mayor Oden and Members of the City Council:
On behalf of Century Crowell Communities, I wish to apologize for the disruption
that we inadvertently caused in an area North West of State Route 111 and adjacent to
Tramway Road. This is property that Century has purchased. During the due diligence
period, we obtained archeological and paleontological studies that indicated negative
findings. Because of this fact, we believed we could initiate standard soil testing
procedures.
It is now our understanding that a grading permit should have been requested
from the City prior to commencement of standard soils testing. We sincerely apologize
to the Council, City Staff and the neighboring community for any disruption this may
have caused. We value our reputation and goodwill with the Council, City Staff and the
neighboring community and will take the necessary steps to assure that this will not
happen again.
ry truly yours, (1
