A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE FAIR
MARKET VALUE OF THE VISITOR'S CENTER, VILLAGE
GREEN, AND SUNRISE PARK TO THE COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS.
The City Council of the City of Palm Springs resolves:
1. The City Council of the City of Palm Springs, on February 6, 2008,
authorized the sale of the Visitor's Center (northwest corner of North Palm Canyon
and Tramway Road; APN: 504-040-001-8), Village Green (211 South Palm
Canyon Drive; APN: 513-153-017), and Sunrise Park (1901 E. Barristo Road;
APNs 502-200-001 and 502-200-002) to the Community Redevelopment Agency of
the City of Palm Springs, subject to a determination of the fair market value of such
property.
2. The City Council finds and confirms that the fair market value of the Visitor's
Center and the Village Green is $4,465,000.
3. The City Council finds and confirms that the fair market value of Sunrise
Park is $61,297,860.
4. The City Council authorizes and directs the City Manager to execute and
modify the promissory notes previously approved by this Council to reflect the fair market
values confirmed in this Resolution.
