HomeMy WebLinkAbout22315 - RESOLUTIONS - 7/16/2008 RESOLUTION NO. 22315 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS FROM FISCAL YEAR 2007-08 TO FISCAL YEAR 2008-09. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Springs has adopted a budget for the 2007-08 fiscal year; and WHEREAS, certain projects budgeted in the 2007-08 fiscal year budget have been started but not completed; and WHEREAS, the unencumbered balances of those certain appropriations are necessary for completion of the projects; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs hereby authorizes carrying forward to the nearest dollar, as continuing appropriations into the 2008-09 fiscal year, the amount indicated or the final audited unencumbered balances, see Exhibit A, whichever is the amount as of June 30, 2008, of the following accounts: General Fund 800,756 Community Promotion Fund 259,989 Sub Total Operating Funds 1,060,745 Forteited Asset Fund 576,878 Safety Augmentation Fund 237,004 Indian Gaming Special Distribution Fund 67,930 Special Development Fund 532,917 Recycling Fund 2,060,000 Neighborhood Involvement Fund 1,864 Business Improvement Fund 64,380 Gas Tax Fund 1,194,163 Measure A Fund 8,522,169 Drainage Fund 5,227,403 Community Development Block Grant Fund 453,829 Public Art Fund 17,268 Library Trust Fund 720,131 Quimby Fees Fund 1,055,717 Special Project/Developer Fees Fund 1,425,173 Capital Project Fund 7,923,749 Assessment District 161 Fund 59,915 Assessment District 162 Fund 59,089 Assessment District 164 Fund 90,183 Airport CFC Fund 492,851 Airport Fund 1,671,750 Waste Water Treatment Plant Fund 2,737,499 Risk Management Fund �570,871 Grand Total 36,823,478 Resolution No, 22315 Page 2 All appropriations approved subsequent to passage of this resolution for the 2007-08 fiscal year, and not expended, are authorized to be continued into the 2008-09 fiscal year.
