A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE
SUBMISSION OF A FISCAL YEAR 2009-10 STATE
HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM
APPLICATION AND THE DESIGNATION OF APPLICANT
AGENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. David H. Ready, City Manager, as the Director of Emergency Services, is
hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of the City of Palm Springs, a public
entity established under the laws of the Sate of California, an application and to file such
with the Riverside County Office of Emergency Services for the purpose of applying for
and obtaining Fiscal Year 2009-10 State Homeland Security Grant Program funding.
SECTION 2. The City of Palm Springs, a public entity established under the laws of the
State of California, hereby authorizes its agent to submit to the Riverside County Office
of Emergency Services, all assurances and agreements as required, for all matters
pertaining to Fiscal Year 2009-10 State Homeland Security Grant Program.
