Mayor Ron Oden CITY CLERK
Palm Springs, California
Dear Mayor Oden,
It is with regret that I must resign my position as Commission Member with the
Administrative Appeals Commission. The resignation will be in effect June 10, 2005.
I am moving from Palm Springs, after being here for the past 15 years, and will be
relocating to Rancho Mirage. I have had the privilege of serving as Commissioner with
the Human Rights Commission, the Rent Review Commission and the Administrative
Appeals Commission during my residency in this lovely community. It has been a very
satisfying experience and rewarding in every way. Serving gave me an opportunity to be
involved with my community, the staff of the City and its elected officials.
My heartfelt thanks must be extended to the staff personnel who work so hard to keep the
Commissions operating smoothly....or perhaps even at all. I have always been treated
with the utmost dignity, courtesy and regard by all with whom I have had contact.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve the City. This is an experience I would encourage
any resident of Palm Springs, who wants to be seriously involved,to investigate such a
commitment. My personal thanks,Ron, for the faith you placed in me in appointing me
to the Commission and for the special, and generally, fun times we had working together
on various projects, especially on the Human Rights Commission. We were trend setters!
Sincerely,
Nancy M. Blee,Ph.D.
