Ready, City Manager BY: Office of the City Clerk SUMMARY The City Council will receive reports from the City Council subcommittees and make final appointments to various Commissions and Boards for the 2005 Annual Recruitment Process. RECOMMENDATION: 1. Appoint one-member to the Administrative Appeals Board for a term ending June 30, 2008; and appoint one-member to the Board to fill a mid-term vacancy for the term ending June 30, 2007. 2. Appoint three-members to the Palm Springs International Airport Commission for terms ending June 30, 2008; and appoint one member to the Board to fill a mid- term vacancy for the term ending June 30, 2006. 3. Appoint two-members to the Historic Site Preservation Board for terms ending June 30, 2008; and appoint one-member to the Board to fill a mid-term vacancy for the term ending June 30, 2007. 4. Appoint three-members to the Human Rights Commission for terms ending June 30, 2008. 5. Appoint one-member to the Library Board for the term ending June 30, 2008. 6. STAFF ANALYSIS: At its June 8, 2005 Meeting the City Council tabled commission and board appointments and directed staff to return with this Item on June 29, 2005.
