NO. 1744 (RELATING TO PALM SPRINGS ZONING CODE
SECTION 93.20.09.B.5, PORTABLE OPEN SIGNS) BY
EXTENDING THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO.
1744 TO OCTOBER 3, 2012.

ORDINANCE EXTENDS ORDINANCE NO. 1744 TO
OCTOBER 3, 2012. .
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ORDAINS:
Section 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1744 is amended to read:
Section 2. This Ordinance shall expire on October 3, 2012, unless reauthorized by
action of the City Council.
Section 3. The Mayor shall sign and the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and
adoption of this Ordinance and shall cause the same, or the summary thereof, to be
published and posted pursuant to the provisions of law and this Ordinance shall take
effect thirty (30) days after passage.
ADOPTED THIS 21ST DAY OF JULY, 2010.

AYES: Councilmember Weigel, Mayor Pro Tern Hutcheson, and Mayor Pougnet.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Foat and Councilmember Mills.
ABSTAIN: None.
