RECOMMENDATION: 1. Appoint a member of the City Council to a City Council Subcommittee for the SDC, LLC Tahquitz Creek Golf Course Hotel Project. STAFF ANALYSIS: On June 4, 2003 the City Council entered into an Exclusive Agreement to Negotiate with SDC, LLC for the potential development of a hotel and timeshare project and modernization of the clubhouse at the Tahquitz Creek Golf Course on Golf Club Drive. The City Council created a Council sub-committee for the project, which originally consisted of then Mayor Will Kleindeinst and Councilmember Mills. Staff and the Developer have continued to discuss the site plan, preliminary design concepts, financial proformas, and the current long-term management and lease agreements with Arnold Palmer Golf Management Company.
