Re listen Councilwoman Foat's statement and Mayor Pougnet's comments in the
July 16th and the many practical reasons she listed as to why CAPS should be given a
license and her request for you to join with her in supporting CAPS. I don't expect you to
always agree with them but there are many times that you do and their
decision to support and vote for CAPS is certainly worth a second look.
Meet with CAPS spokesperson, allow them fifteen - thirty minutes of your time to offer
credible reasoning for
issuing CAPS a license. If the City of Peoria AZ and Rancho Mirage took the time to do
so, acknowledge the significance of their actions and the opinions and knowledge they
obtained from their research.
Tour Organic Solutions of the Desert
They are not open and they post this announcement on their website and stated as of this
afternoon that they will be opening within the next month or so.
We hope to open by March. Everything is moving forward and we greatly appreciate your patience with us
trying to give the patients of the Coachella Valley a new home with Organic Solutions of the Desert. A request
to move location has been the delay in opening We will begin building in Jan. and hope to be open by
mid Feb.All staff are handpicked and have extensive knowledge in all aspects of the collective. Every
employee is trained in every job in the collective. We apologize for the long delay, but as the 3rd collective
granted a license by the City of Palm Springs we assure it will be worth the wait. Organic Solutions of the
Desert, Cannahelp, and Desert Organic Solutions are the only licensed collectives in Palm Springs legally
allowed to operate. So regardless of what they say you are not safe and they don't CARE." Jim
Camper, Director
In closing....
One of the basic principals of integrity is that you don't always make decisions, or change a
prior decision because they are easy, or because they are popular; you make them because
they are the right decision.
Often the right decisions should be made based on what is best for many people and may not
represent your personal opinions how you may feel personally.
Please listen to the voices and opinions of many including those listed above. Please issue CAPS
a license to continue to operate and serve the needs of thousands of patients in a proper and
professional manor as they have done now for over five years.
