Subject: APPROVAL OF PARCEL MAP 32550 FOR 2 PARCELS LOCATED AT
19393 AND 19531 MCLANE STREET, IN SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 3

SUMMARY
Nolte Associates, Inc., representing Marvin L. Oates, Trustee of the Marvin L. Oates
Trust dated March 7, 1995, under Amended and Restated Trust Agreement dated
December 20, 2001, has prepared a Parcel Map for subdivision of property into 2
parcels located at 19393 and 19531 McLane Street, in Section 15, Township 3 South,
Range 4 East. This is merely an administerial action, as required by the Municipal
Code and the Subdivision Map Act.
RECOMMENDATION:
1) Adopt Resolution No. "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL MAP 32550
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 19393 AND 19531 MCLANE STREET, IN
SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 3 SOUTH, RANGE 4 EAST,
STAFF ANALYSIS:
Nolte Associates, Inc., representing Marvin L. Oates, Trustee of the Marvin L. Oates
Trust dated March 7, 1995, under Amended and Restated Trust Agreement dated
December 20, 2001, submitted Parcel Map 32550, requesting that the property located
at 19393 and 19531 McLane Street, in Section 15, Township 3 South, Range 4 East, be
subdivided into 2 commercial parcels on a 4.966 gross acre site. At its meeting of July
28, 2004, the Planning Commission recommended approval of Tentative Parcel Map
32550, which was subsequently approved by the City Council, subject to conditions, on
September 1, 2004.

Parcel Map 32550
This Parcel Map is a subdivision of an existing commercial parcel with Parcel Map
20820 (known as the "Orr" commercial subdivision, north of Interstate 10) located west
of Indian Avenue and between 19th and 20th Avenues. All subdivision improvements are
constructed, and therefore, no Subdivision Improvement Agreement is required. The
Parcel Map is purely a subdivision of an existing parcel into two separate parcels.
It has been determined that required conditions have been satisfied, that Parcel Map
32550 is in substantial conformance with the approved Tentative Parcel Map, and that
Parcel map 32550 is ready for City Council approval. d '

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL
MAP 32550 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 19393 AND
19531 MCLANE STREET, IN SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP 3
SOUTH, RANGE 4 EAST
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, at its meeting of July 28, 2004, recommended
approval of Tentative Parcel Map 32550, prepared by Nolte Associates, Inc.,
representing Marvin L. Oates, Trustee of the Marvin L. Oates Trust dated March 7,
'1995, under Amended and Restated Trust Agreement dated December 20, 2001, for
the above described property; and
WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of September 1, 2002, approved Tentative
Parcel Map 32550 subject to conditions.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
I. That Parcel map 32550 is in substantial conformance with approved Tentative
Parcel Map 32550; and
2.. That requisite conditions associated with Tentative Tract Map 32550 have been
satisfied; and
3. That Parcel map 32550 is in conformance with the General Plan; and
4. That Parcel map 32550 conforms to all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act
of the State of California; and
5. That Parcel map 32550 is hereby approved for purposes therein defined.
ADOPTED THIS 16th day of November, 2005.
