Ready, City Manager BY: James Thompson, City Clerk SUMMARY Pursuant to City of Palm Springs Charter, the City Council shall designate one of its members as Mayor Pro Tempore. RECOMMENDATION: Appoint a member of the Palm Springs City Council as Mayor Pro Tempore for the term ending December, 2006. STAFF ANALYSIS: Pursuant to the City of Palm Springs City Charter Section 302, the City Council shall designate one of its members as Mayor Pro Tempore, who shall serve in such capacity at the pleasure of the City Council.
