Ready, City Manager BY: James Thompson, City Clerk SUMMARY The City Council will consider the reappointment of the City's representative to the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees. RECOMMENDATION: Reappoint Sharon Lock to the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees for the term ending December 31, 2015. STAFF ANALYSIS: Pursuant to law the City Council shall appoint a representative to the Coachella Valley Mosquito and Vector Control District Board of Trustees. The City Council's appointee, Sharon Lock, has expressed interest in reappointment by the City Council to the Board. Sharon Lock has served at the pleasure of the City Council on the Board since December 14, 2005, currently is serving as President of the Board, and was instrumental in facilitating changes to the District's administration and operations during their recent challenges.
