A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, ESTABLISHING 2-HOUR
TIME LIMITED PARKING ZONES FROM 7:00 A.M. TO 7:00
P.M. ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE RAMON ROAD
FRONTAGE ROAD ADJACENT TO ST. THERESA'S.
WHEREAS, a frontage road exists on the north side of Ramon Road adjacent to
St. Theresa's church and school, and
WHEREAS, City Council finds that said frontage road provides on street parking
to the church, school and other nearby properties, and
WHEREAS, Vehicles unrelated to said properties are using this road to park and
store vehicles, thereby reducing available parking and;
WHEREAS, City Council finds and St. Theresa's principal concurs that time
limited street parking on the south side of the Frontage road will open up additional
parking for the adjacent properties.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. THE CITY COUNCIL HEREBY ESTABLISHES 2-hour parking time limits
from 7am-7pm on: The south side of the Ramon Road northerly frontage road from
Compadre Road to the west end of the frontage road.
SECTION 2. The City Engineer is hereby directed and authorized to establish the
restricted two-hour parking area as approved in Section 1 of this Resolution, by the
installation of signs and/or markings in conformance with California Vehicle Code
§22507 and Palm Springs Municipal Code §12.32.090.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption by the City
Council of the City of Palm Springs.

AYES: Councilmember Hutcheson, Councilmember Lewin, Mayor Pro Tern Foat,
and Mayor Pougnet.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmember Mills.
ABSTAIN: None.
