A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE
CONVEYANCE OF LAND IN TRACT MAP NO. 18087 TO
THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND
WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT FOR PALM CANYON
WASH LATERAL A, STAGE II (RCFC PROJECT NO. 6-0-
00041, RCFC PARCEL NO. 6041-500.
WHEREAS, the City of Palm Springs accepted the dedication of a 20-feet wide
public storm drain easement within Lot 24 of Tract Map 18087, recorded in Map Book
216, Pages 32-40, inclusive, records of Riverside County, California, identified by
Assessor's Parcel No. 512-210-043; and
WHEREAS, the 20-feet wide public storm drain easement was accepted by the
City of Palm Springs to accommodate Palm Canyon Wash Lateral "A", Stage ll, to
convey storm water runoff to the Palm Canyon Wash, identified on the City's General
Plan as a regional flood control facility; and
WHEREAS, the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District
("RCFC") has, and continues to, maintain such regional flood control improvements;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to convey its interest to the 20-feet wide
public storm drain easement to the RCFC, to further promote RCFC's ability to maintain
such regional flood control improvements for the common benefit of the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Quitclaim Deed, attached hereto, for conveyance of its interest in a
20-feet wide public storm drain easement within Lot 24 of Tract Map 18087 related to
Palm Canyon Wash Lateral "A", Stage Il, RCFC Project No. 6-0-00041, RCFC Parcel
No. 6041-500, is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Quitclaim Deed,
which shall be transmitted to RCFC for its acceptance and recordation.

Springs, a municipal corporation, does hereby remise,release,and forever quitclaim to Riverside County
Flood Control and Water Conservation District, all right,title and interest in and to the easement situated
in the City of Palm Springs,County of Riverside, State of California, described as:
The 20-foot storm drain easement within Lot 24 of Tract Map 18087,recorded in Map Book 216,Pages 32
through 40 inclusive,records ofthe Recorder's Office,Riverside County, State of California,as shown on
Exhibit"N',attached for reference purposes only, hereafter referenced as RCFC Parcel No. 6041-500.
