The Riverside County District Attorney's Office recognizes that crime is not just breaking the law, people may be significantly impacted. A majority of victims experience loss and sorrow mixed with acute feelings of injustice, distrust, and helplessness. With this in mind, it is our mission to offer support in any way we can, fully understanding that the criminal justice system is often confusing and hard to comprehend. You are not alone. The Riverside County District Attorney's Division of Victim Services is dedicated to a system ofjustice that is inclusive of crime victims and will remain vigilant in striving to provide the most effective service to the people of Riverside County. The enclosed Victim Rights Manual details every right available to you. For further information about your rights or this case, please call the Division of Victim Services at the number listed below. When you call, you will be assigned a Victim Services Advocate, who, along with the Victim Rights Manual, will help you locate resources, protect your rights, keep you informed and help navigate you through the criminal justice system. To do this however,we must have your current address and phone number, and if possible,an e-mail address to contact you on the development of your case. Together we will make our neighborhoods safer for us and for the generations to come. It is an honor to serve as your District Attorney. "A Victim's Voice Will Be Heard" a Very truly yours, ROD PACHECO District Attorney Iindrnure 1aim NirAu AIuwY,4'inim Impn Surcmem 82-675 HIGHWAY r 1 1,4TH FLOOR INbaO.CA92201 (760)863-8408 V / Hey Mike: CityManager@palmsprings-ca.gov We got the chance to meet with the city manager once before, allow the Chief to speak with me and I will surely keep you both in the loop should I see the need. My request to meet with the chief is concerning the matter of damages I have incurred since that November day I call for assistance on an order of the court that was improperly handled. Our understanding of civil procedure,by officers under your command; chose to ignore 527.6 and Judge Wells advised me to push beyond You for action and answers. Remember, the woman was shot by her husband, restraint order in effect inside her shop just five blocks away. Since Mr.Krimbill is still uncooperative, it is legally your responsibility to maintain his erratic behavior and nasty drunken verbal lies and rants directed at me,a resident of the city of Palm Springs. Many others that have lived within that house haven't sought the level of help I did;thus allowing your staff ample time to arrive to aid me in keeping his situation under control. Check the Chiefs calander and find a time when the police chief of this fair city, will meet me. As always, your assistance is valuable, so thanx again. 0802P-1551 Robert Anzovino ----On Tue, 13 May 2008, Mike Hall(Mike.Hall@palmsprings-ca.gov)wrote: Mr.Anzovino, The Chief of Police has been briefed and has a full understanding of your situation. He feels working with the Detective who has your case and the Court system is more appropriate then a meeting with him. Krimbill signed a private person's arrest form placing ANZOVINO under arrest. WITNESS STATEMENT: No witnesses were located. OFFICER STATEMENT: I then contacted ANZOVINO who was standing in the parking lot of his apartment complex which is located across the street from Krimbill. ANZOVINO stated that he did not walk onto Krimbill's property and he did not speak with Krimbill at any time today. ANZOVINO went on to say that he was on the phone all morning with the District Attorney's Office and the Victim's Rights Advocate. Based on the fact that Krimbill signed a Private Person's Arrest form, I took custody of ANZOVINO without incident. I then transported ANZOVINO to the PSPD Jail for booking. At PSPD, I contacted Victim Services Supervisor Debbie Anderson by phone with a number provided by ANZOVINO (760-863-8408). Anderson advised that she had been on the phone with ANZOVINO from approximately 1130 hours to 1200 hours and then again at approximately 1205 hours at which time ANZOVINO advised her that the police were at Krimbill's home. I later contacted Riverside County District Attorney Joanna Daniels by phone with a number provided by ANZOVINO (760-863-8216). Daniels advised me that she had spent most of the morning on the phone with a person who identified himself as Robert ANZOVINO. Daniels advised that she spoke with ANZOVINO from approximately 1030 hours to approximately 1145 hours. ANZOVINO was advised to keep a camera with him in the future in-order to take photographs of Krimbill to provide physical evidence if any further violations of his restraining order occur. ANZOVINO stated, "I don't want any pictures of him." I was later contacted by dispatch to return to PSPD. I arrived at PSPD and contacted Sergeant Anderson who advised me that dispatch had made a mistake and that there was BY OFFICER DATERq.£ APPROVED BY DAM APmovec M.Iseminger 15579 1010612008 2118 Bryan Anderson 0200 10/07/08 OFFICER UNR/SHIFT AsslcN Dro c^sE sTATus Closed CR-1 Isemi/15579 Entered by:Michael Iseminger Page 2 of 4 APDC (Rev. 11/14107) Print Date: 10107/2008 Reserved for I FF- LAIMANT: Rat M CITY OF PAlli SPRIN V il ) C O(j( w T t/ rRiT 2U8 MAY 15 PM 2t 3 ESS_ PD ' T oZ I /}jµ Pr)AMEj THOHI'SiN ESSCIITTY C/LERK nolJG PWLTO HWEIMINMI CLAIM NO. 0 ` RSON fNJURED ^ r`ING DAMAGESVL`p.Ji„r - READ ENTIRE FORM BEFORE COMPLETING CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA CLAIM FORM Claims can be mailed or filed in person at: City of Palm Springs City Clerk 3200 East Tahquitz Canyon Way Palm Springs,CA 92262 To the City Council, City of Palm Springs,California: The undersigned hereby presents the following claim to the City of Palm Springs,in accordance with the laws of the State of California: 1.
