You are authorized to proceed with an additional design services for the above-referenced Project. For ease of reference and our mutual convenience, I am proposing that your work will be performed and administered pursuant to the terms of Exhibit C of the Owner Architect Agreement between the City and your firm dated December 18, 2002. The services described in this letter should be considered as new services and are not within the scope of the original agreement. Your work will focus on the following tasks: • Establish conceptual programmatic needs for the expansion of the Center based on your requirements • Investigate local regulatory constraints, including Building and Zoning ordinances • Analyze site cultural and climatic factors • Provide a concept scheme showing possible expansion configurations, including a tally of building square footages and parking counts • Present and analyze schemes with ownership stakeholders Post Office Box 2743 0 Palm Springs, California 92263-2743 . t Mr. Kudrycki May 5, 2006 Page Two Deliverables will include: Final Expansion Plan Booklet, including Executive Summary, reduced plans, site analysis plans, and final expansion plan. You have estimated that two man trips to Palm Springs will be required to complete this work. Your services will be billed on a time and materials basis. You will work at my direction and the total cost of our services will not exceed Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($20,500.00). Reimbursable expenses may be billed to the City and are estimated at Two Thousand Collars ($2,000.00). Your fee will not exceed this amount without my prior written authorization. All billing for this work will be invoiced under a new heading that will be provided to you by the City's Finance Director. Landscape Design or Civil Engineering fees are not included in this Proposal.
