SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF MAYOR PRO TEMPORE FOR THE TERM ENDING
DECEMBER, 2015

RECOMMENDATION:
Appoint a member of the Palm Springs City Council as Mayor Pro Tempore for the term
ending December, 2015.
STAFF ANALYSIS:
Pursuant to §302 of the Palm Springs City Charter, the City Council shall designate one
of its members as Mayor Pro Tempore, who shall serve in such capacity at the pleasure
of the City Council.
The Mayor Pro Tempore shall perform the duties of the Mayor during any period of the
Mayor's absence or disability.
Below is the recent history of the appointed Mayor Pro Tempore:
