In fact, the efforts to acquire the property from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management for the Palm Springs COD campus site have proceeded and are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2009-These efforts have been between the City and the BLM with the college only collaterally involved. At this time I'm not certain the Exclusive Agreement To Negotiate is really relevant. TomWlson, Asst. City Manager. From: Kathie Hart Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2009 9:35 AM To: Tom Wilson Subject: A5584 - Desert Community College District(EAN) Tom: On Nov. 14, 2007, the City Council took the following action: Adopt Resolution No. 22102, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN EXCLUSIVE AGREEMENT TO NEGOTIATE WITH THE DESERT COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT FOR A 115 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF TRAMVIEW ROAD AND NORTH INDIAN CANYON DRIVE FOR THE WEST VALLEY EDUCATION CENTER OF COLLEGE OF THE DESERT." A5584. Motion Councilmember McCulloch, seconded by Mayor Oden and unanimously carried on a roll call vote. The agreement has not been executed. May I ask you what the status of this agreement is?
