When the City of Palm Springs completed the purchase of the building from the YMCA, we assumed the leases from all'building tenants on a month-to-month lease until such time as a long term lease would.be executed between the City and the lessees. The current agreement is a continuation of your use of the facility under the same terms as yopr agreement with.the YMCA, which was a month-to-month lease with the exception that the City agreed to reduce your monthly rental rate from $800 to $600. We rived your monthly rental of$800 on,July 15 for the month of July but have not received any payments for the months of August or September and the rent for the month of October is due on Qctober 1. When we spoke yesterday you-exprkessed a desire to pay all arrears. This letter is to advise you of our intention to secure a new tenant in,the space you are; currently occupying effective November 1, 2010 and to formally terminate your month-to-month lease agreement with the City of Palm Springs.
