Bonno Subject: Human Rights Commission Resignation Dear Mayor Moon and Council Members, Please know it is with regret and heavy heart I resign my position on the Human Rights Commission effective March 15th. Due to a dramatic and rapid growth in our business through the acquisition of two other firms, (coupled with some family health issues) I am forced to eliminate my public service at this time. I am so proud of my five-year tenure on this commission. This commission has worked to become more visible and engaged with the community and it's sub-populations. The commission now truly represents a wider swath of Palm Springs and it's diverse needs and issues. The annual awards program which this commission does on behalf of the City is really one of the most golden, upbeat programs the city offers. May I also add, that working with Lee Bonno has been one of the greatest delights of this position. Her deep knowledge, professionalism and ability to keep us in compliance with the Brown act reflects beautifully on the high caliber of our city staff. She does it all with grace and in fabulous shoes! With warmest thanks, Dee Dee Wilson Barton Chair, Human Rights Commission Dee Dee Wilson Barton Chair, Palm Springs Human Rights Commission PSHS Site Council CEO, Greg Barton CPA and Associates, Inc. deedee(a)thedeeview.com www.GregBartonCPA.com i
