SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, JUNE 23, 2016
CITY HALL LARGE CONFERENCE ROOM
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moon called the meeting to order at 4:40 p.m.
ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Councilmember Foat, Councilmember Kors, Councilmember
Roberts, Mayor Pro Tem Mills, and Mayor Moon.
ABSENT: None.
ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Thompson and Gary Johns, HSPB Chair.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
Gary Johns, Historic Site Preservation Board, commented on the proposed repairs to
the Cornelia White House and the capital improvement project.
INTERVIEW AND APPOINT APPLICANTS TO THE HISTORIC SITE
PRESERVATION BOARD AS PART OF THE 2016 ANNUAL RECRUITMENT:
ACTION: 1) Reappoint Todd Hays to the Historic Site Preservation Board for the term
ending June 30, 2019; 2) Appoint Vincent Marsh and Daniel Kiser to the Historic Site
Preservation Board for the term ending June 30, 2019. By unanimous consent of the
City Council (5-0).
ADJOURNMENT: The City Council adjourned at 5:50 p.m. to the regular adjourned
meeting Thursday, June 23, 2016, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. Council Chamber, City Hall, 3200
East Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs.
