Re: Planning Commissioner Dennis Woods
Dear City Council
Please be advised that our office represents and protects the interests of Pinnacle View,
LLC, the owner and developer of the project commonly referred to as "Desert Palisades." Be
advised that our client Pinnacle View, LLC, submits its objection to the appointment of Dennis
Woods as a Planning Commissioner. Further, our client hereby places in any and all
administrative records involving Desert Palisades, that Mr. Woods is openly and unequivocally
biased against the Desert Palisades project and therefore must recuse himself from any and all
votes or public hearings involving our client's project, any entitlement and/or permit contained
therein, and any home to be constructed.
Examples of Mr. Woods' continued harassment include, but are not limited to, the

1. Continually complaining to Marcus Fuller that Desert Palisades is closing off
"public" streets when in fact, the location at which the streets were barricaded
was private.
2. Email complaints regarding access to trail head.
3. Extensive emails and complaints to the City of Palm Springs regarding dust, noise,
pedestrian safety, traffic, pollution and speed, all allegedly due to and/or caused
by the Desert Palisades project.
4. Environmental impact related complaints.
S. Incorrect and unfounded claims that lands were not returned to pre-existing
conditions and grade after Desert Palisades installation of Edison power on the
north side of Racquet Club Drive.

While is it fully understood that Mr. Woods has his First Amendment rights and is entitled to
his opinions, the fact remains that the extensive communications by and between Mr. Woods
and the City of Palm Springs clearly and unequivocally reflect his bias against the Desert
Palisades project. Based upon his past communications and positions regarding our client's
project, it is clear to us that he is unable to make an objective and unbiased decision regarding
anything to do with the Desert Palisades project. For that reason, a standing objection to Mr.
Woods voting on any item involving Desert Palisades is hereby tendered to the City of Palm
Springs and it is requested that any and all future Minutes or Staff Reports indicate our client's
objection. Should you care to discuss the foregoing, please do not hesitate to contact the
undersigned.
