Council,
Agenda item S.E. Annual Insurance Renewals — materials for this item were
not in your packet as our insurance broker continues to work toward
obtaining better prices with various carriers - as part of our deficit reduction
plan. Also, we will be recommending a separate coverage with a higher limit
for the Waste Water Treatment Plant (paid from that fund) — this facility
would likely be the top priority for repair after a major earthquake and
having more coverage there would be prudent.
Hence, to make these adjustments and obtain the best price — we will
postpone the item until next week — the 24th — our insurances are expiring
on the 30th. We anticipate have all materials in your agenda packet on
Thursday.
Thanks,
David
