OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING RECOMMENDED
COMITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PUNDING
BDDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 1992-93.
WHEREAS, the City is eligible to receive an entitlement of
$398,000 of Community Development Block Grant funds as a central
ci:cy under the Department of Housing & Urban Development Regula-
tions, and
WHEREAS, the funds must bo used for eligible activities which
principally benefit low and moderate income people, and
WHEREAS, the City Council appointed Citizen's Advisory Commission
has held a public hearing to receive citizen's input on the
allocation of these funds, and
WHEREAS, the projects have been assessed by staff and the Citizen's
Advisory Commission, based on needs of low and moderate income
neighborhoods to benefit 'the maximum number of people.
W)MREAS, the City Counci] has held a public hearing to receive '
public input on ::he allocation of these funds, and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of
Palm Springs, California, does hereby approve the following
allocations for the Community Development Block Grant fundii.g: '
