HomeMy WebLinkAbout17701 - RESOLUTIONS - 12/4/1991 �- RESOLUTION NO. 17701 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA, AMENDING AN APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 3O, 199i. WHEREAS Article X1IIB of the Constitution of the State of F, California mandates an appropriation and expenditure limit on various units of government, including the City of Palm Springs; and WHEREAS the State of California has passed new guidelines for the computation of the appropriation and expenditure limit; and WHEREAS that limit has been recalculated by the Finance Department r of the City of Palm Springs using current guidelines provided by the State Department of Finance; and WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Palm Springs desires to formally adopt that appropriations limit for the City, and WHEREAS the options for the calculation will be California per Capita Income and the County of Riverside population growth; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs that, in accordance with Article XIIIS of the F , Constitution of the State of California, the appropriations limit for the City of Palm Springs for the fiscal year 1990-91 is $46,624,286.
