The low bidder is Pyramid Building & Construction, from Hesperia. The company
is individually owned by John A. Garrison.
The original budget in Plaza Theater account No. 821-8199-65137 (H. Frank
Arcade Lot) was $265,000. Approximately $31,000 has been expended or
encumbered, primarily on the lighting system. The attached Budget Resolution
would add $53,000 to the account from the Plaza Theatre Fund Balance, and
would provide sufficient funding for the construction cost and additional
Engineering Department expenses. The remaining Fund Balance would be about
$132,000.
