PROJECT DESCRIPTION
1. City of Palm Springs will design and build one 12,000 sq. ft. single story fire
station to provide Fire and EMS services to commercial and residential properties
north and east of the Palm Springs International Airport. Fire Station will be
equipped with a 1500 GPM fire engine staffed with three firefighters for 24/7
municipal fire protection services.
2. City will design and construct a public road to the fire station from Vista Chino,
and underground all utilities (approximately 700').
I City will provide a controlled intersection at Vista Chino and the fire station road.
4. City will redesign and construct the airport perimeter security .fence and interior
perimeter loop road around the fire station site.
5. City will provide one perimeter access security gate from the fire station road
onto the airport's interior perimeter loop road.
