Ready, City Manager BY: City Manager SUMMARY This action would approve and amendment to the VSA Airports Engineering Services Agreement for design and field engineering services related to the installation of Aircraft Power, Apron Lighting, Bollards and Incidental Paving at the new Hold-rooms Aircraft Ramp. RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Minute Order No. approving Amendment No. 10 to Agreement No. 4487 with VSA Airports, Inc. to add design and field engineering services for aircraft apron improvements related to the New Hold-room Project, for an amount not to exceed $12,000. STAFF ANALYSIS: For the Airport's new Regional Jet Hold-rooms to properly function once completed some additional improvements are needed on the aircraft parking apron. These improvements include power for the aircraft, bollards to keep the facility from being hit by airline vehicles, relocation of and apron light pole and incidental paving around the courtyard area. All of these improvements are eligible for grant reimbursement under Federal Aviation Grant AIP 39 overrun. The airport engineering firm VSA Airports has provided a proposal to do the design work and oversee the construction of this work for a fee not to exceed $12,000. The attached Minute Order would approved Amendment No.10 to the VSA Airports agreement and the cost would be 95% reimbursable from AIP 39 grant overrun. ITEM NIO. James Thompson, City Cleric AMENDMENT#10 AGREEMENT NO. 4487, AIRPORT ENGINEERING SERVICES THIS TENTH AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT NO. 4487 FOR CONTRACT SERVICES, (herein "Amendment') is made and entered into on the _day of 2007, by and between the CITY OF PALM SPRINGS (herein "City") and VSA AIRPORTS, Inc. (herein "Contractor")_ (The term Contractor includes professionals performing in a consulting capacity.), is hereby effective 2007 as follows.- RECITALS A. The City and Contractor entered into that certain Contract Services Agreement No. 4487 for Airport Engineering Services ("Agreement'), as duly amended from time to time. B.
