RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council approve Parcel Map No. 29450 for Mainiero, Smith and
Associates, Inc. representing Lowe's H.I.W., Inc., to divide property located at 5001
Ramon Road East(APN 680-170-018), Section 20, T 4 S, R 5 E.
SUMMARY:
Mainiero, Smith and Associates, Inc. representing Lowe's H.I..W., Inc., requests that
one (1) parcel located at 5001 Ramon Road East, Section 20. T 4 S, R 5 E, be divided
into two (2) parcels.
BACKGROUND:
At its meeting of February 23,2000, the Planning Commission recommended approval
of Tentative Parcel Map No. 29450 which was subsequently approved by the City
Council, subject to conditions, on April 5, 2000.
It has been determined that required conditions have been satisfied, that the Parcel
Map No. 29450 is in substantial conformance with the approved Tentative Map, and
that th Parcel Map No. 29450 is ready for City Council actions.

RESOLUTION NO. 20033
OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL MAP NO.
29450 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5001 RAMON
ROAD EAST, SECTION 20, T 4 S, R 5 E
WHEREAS the Planning Commission, at its meeting of February 23, 2000 recommended
approval of Tentative Map No. 29450 requested by Mainiero, Smith and Associates, Inc.
representing Lowe's H.I.W., Inc. for the above described property, subject to conditions;
and
WHEREAS the City Council, at its meeting of April 5, 2000 approved Tentative Map No.
29450 subject to conditions.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Palm Springs
finds that Parcel Map No. 29450 is in substantial conformance with approved Tentative
Map No. 29450 and has satisfied conditions as required, and is in conformance with the
General Plan, and conforms to all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of
California, and the City Council does hereby approve Parcel Map No. 29450 for property
herein described.
