HomeMy WebLinkAbout21619 - RESOLUTIONS - 6/7/2006 RESOLUTION NO. 21619 ' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR POLICE TOW SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR PROPOSALS. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance 1686 in order to provide the public and the City's Police Department with prompt, safe, reliable, and responsive vehicle towing and storage services; and WHEREAS, the ordinance establishes that the City Council shall adopt the request for proposals and authorize the City Clerk to advertise for proposals; and WHEREAS, the request for proposals has been prepared by staff, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the request for proposals for police tow services is hereby adopted. SECTION 2. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to advertise for proposals. ADOPTED this 7" day of June, 2006. David H.
