HomeMy WebLinkAbout21199 - RESOLUTIONS - 2/2/2005 RESOLUTION NO. 21199 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM ' SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2004-05 TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE MARCH 8, 2005 SPECIAL ELECTION. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 20973 approving the budget for the fiscal year 2004-05 was adopted by the City Council on June 9, 2004; and WHEREAS, Resolution No. 21132 and Resolution No. 21133 were adopted by the City Council on November 10, 2004, calling a Special Election for March 8, 2005 pursuant to the California Election Code; and WHEREAS, funds were not budgeted in the Fiscal Year 2004-05 budget and funds were not appropriated when the Special Election was called; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and City Clerk have recommended, and the City Council desires to approve certain amendments to said budget; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Director of Finance is authorized to record inter-fund cash transfers as required in accordance: with this Resolution, and that Resolution 20973, adopting the budget for Fiscal Year 2004-05 is hereby amended as ' follows: SECTION 1: ADDITIONS Fund Activity Account Amount 001 General Fund 1150 City Clerk 43860 Elections $65,000.00 Purpose: To pay for costs to administer the March 8, 2005 Special Election. SECTION 2: SOURCE Fund Activity Account Amount 001 General Fund 29301 Fund Balance $65,000.00 Adopted this 2nd day of February, 2005.
