Net contract Change Order is a decrease of $31,285.73 BACKGROUND: On April 5, 2000, City Council of the City of Palm Springs awarded American Asphalt Repair & Resurfacing Co., Inc. the contract for the 1999 / 2000 Annual Slurry Seal Program Project. Per the recommendation of the City Engineer, Item A is proposed to be added to this contract from C.P. 93-49, Heritage Trail Bikeway. The proposed striping was deleted from the Heritage Trail Bikeway project due to the slurry work on Alejo Road, Belardo Road and Museum Drive. The cost is an agreed price lump sum amount of $4,510.00. Per the recommendation of the Street Maintenance Supervisor, Item B is proposed to be added because the City's striping equipment is non-operational. All slurry street quantities were measured by both the City and the Contractor. Final As-Built quantities were less than contract amounts.
