HomeMy WebLinkAbout20777 - RESOLUTIONS - 11/5/2003 RESOLUTION NO. 20777 ' OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 20362, TO INCREASE SOME OF THE ANIMAL CONTROL FEES. WHEREAS on June 5, 2002, the City Council adopted Resolution 20362; and WHEREAS Resolution 20362 is the City's Comprehensive Fee Schedule; and WHEREAS the City Council desires to amend the Comprehensive Fee Schedule in order to increase some of the animal control fees, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, that Resolution 20362, as amended, establishing the Comprehensive Fee Schedule, is hereby further amended, by the following: Administrative Hearing Fee Dangerous and vicious dog hearing 100.00 Animal License Fees Unaltered dogs 50.00 Senior Citizen (altered only) 5.00 Late fees 20.00 Animal Placement Fees Dogs, cats, puppies, kittens 15.00 includes microchipping or best offer Neuter/Spay Fees Male dog 40.00 Female dog 40.00 Male cat 20.00 Female cat 30.00 Daily Care Fee Large Animals 35.00 Cats (special handling required) 15.00 Dogs (special handling required) 20.00 Impound Fees Large animals 200.00 plus costs Cats 15.00 Dogs 35.00 Dogs on the Airport 250.00 Dogs on school property 75.00 Page 2 Dead Animal Fees ' Delivered, assistance needed 15.00 per 5 animals plus disposal fee Disposal only, large animal 25.00 plus costs Pick up/disposal, in City, Medium and small animal 30.00 Pick up/disposal, in City, Large animal 50.00 plus costs Trap Rental Fees Late fee per day 25.00 Pick up trap, reclaim over due trap 100.00 per attempt Relocation of Non-Domestic Animals From City trap clearing only Clearing non-skunk traps 25.00 plus costs Emergency Services Fee Emergency"after hours" call outs 100.00 plus any additional fees which apply ADOPTED this 5th day of November 2003.
