HomeMy WebLinkAbout20433 - RESOLUTIONS - 8/7/2002 RESOLUTION NO. 20433 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING FINAL MAP NO. 29988 FOR ' CONDOMINIUM PURPOSES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1508 NORTH PALM CANYON DRIVE, IN SECTION 10, T 4 S, R 4 E A04545 WHEREAS the Planning Commission, at its meeting of January 24, 2001, recommended approval of Tentative Map No. 29988 requested by Mainiero, Smith & Associates, Inc., representing Desert Shadows III, LLP, for the above described property, subject to conditions; and WHEREAS the City Council at its meeting of March 21, 2001, approved Tentative Map No. 29988 subject to conditions; and WHEREAS the owneroffers fordedication tothe public for street and public utility purposes, Lot"A" as additional right-of-way for North Indian Canyon Drive, Lot"B" as additional right- of-way for Stevens Road, and Lot "C" as additional right-of-way for North Palm Canyon Drive. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs as follows: 1. That Final Map No. 29988 is in substantial conformance with approved Tentative Map No. 29988; and ' 2. That requisite conditions associated with Tentative Map No. 29988 have been satisfied; and 3. That Final Map No. 29988 is in conformance with the General Plan; and 4. That Final Map No. 29988 conforms to all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California; and 5. That the offers of dedication to the City of Palm Springs on Final Map No. 29988 shall be accepted by the City Clerk of the City of Palm Springs; and 6. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Subdivision Improvement Agreement with the subdivider and to accept subdivision improvement security in conformance with the requirements therein for construction of required public improvements; and 7. That Final Map No. 29988 is hereby approved for purposes therein defined. ADOPTED this 7th day of August 20Q2 .
