OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE
REPORT OF PROCEEDINGS AND ACCOUNTING
' FOR THE PUBLIC NUISANCE ABATEMENT LIEN
LOCATED AT 2150 N. PALM CANYON DRIVE,
FILE #CP97-000
WHEREAS the City has instituted abatement proceedings concerning Zoning Ordinance and building code
violations (property maintenance and open building)located on the property described as 2150 N.Palm
Canyon Drive, Palm Springs, California; and
WHEREAS said property is shown as Assessor's Parcel No.504-270-009 on the County Assessor's
Map books as of June 28, 1999; and
WHEREAS the Director of Planning and Building has reported that notices required in accordance with
Chapter 11.72 of the Palm Springs Municipal Code have been given and that the owner had refused to
comply; and
WHEREAS pursuant to said code,the City thereupon abated the public nuisance located on the property
described above; and
WHEREAS the City Council did receive and file the report ofproceedings and accounting of the cost of
abatement on June 2, 1999.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
Section1. Thatthe City Council hereby approves the report ofProceedings and Accounting of cost in
the total amount of$4,344.50.
Section 2. That a special assessment lien in the amount of$4,344.50 is hereby imposed upon the
property herein above described.
Section 3. That a certified copy ofthis Resolution and the report shall be filed with the Riverside County
Assessor.
Section4. That the County Assessor is respectfully requested to enter the amount ofthe assessment on
the County Tax Roll opposite the parcel of land referred to,and that thereafter said amount
shall be collected at the same time, and in the same manner as ordinary municipal taxes.
Section5. That a certified copy ofthis resolution and the report be recorded with the Riverside County
Recorder's Office.
ADOPTED this 7' day of July, 1999.
