OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT THE VACATION OF A
PORTION OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF SUNNY DUNES
ROAD BETWEEN CALLE AMIGOS AND THE WESTERLY
PROPERTY LINE OF TTM 28852 (289.56 FEET WESTERLY), '
LOCATED IN SECTION 23, IS CONSISTENT WITH THE
GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, Dennis Cunningham, (the "Applicant") property owner of 2.32 acres at the
northwest corner of Calle Amigos and E. Sunny Dunes Road, has submitted a request for the
vacation of a portion of right-of-way of Sunny Dunes Road between Calle Amigos and the west
property line of TTM 28852 (289.56 feet westerly), in Section 23.
WHEREAS, the subject right-of-way of Sunny Dunes Road does not conflict with the roadway
identified on the General Plan Land "Use and Circulation Map;
WHEREAS, the subject street vacation will not preclude roadway access from any property or to
any other roadways;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Springs has considered the subject street
vacation and its consistency with General Plan at its meeting of November 18, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, based upon the foregoing, the City Council '
does hereby determine that the vacation of a portion of the public right-of-way of Sunny Dunes
Road between Calle Amigos and the westerly property line of TTM 28852 (289.56 feet
westerly), in Section 23 is consistent with the General Plan.
