OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY' OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE GRANTING OF AN
EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON
COMPANY FOR THE AIR MUSEUM ON THE WEST
SIDE OF GENE AUTRY TRAIL IN SECTION 7, T. 4 S., R. '
5 E., S.B.B.& IM.
WHEREAS the City of Palen Springs is the owner of the Airport property, located on the
west side of Gene Autry Trail in Section 7, and
WHEREAS Southern California Edison Company has requested the City to grant it an
easement over the Palm Springs Airport properly, as described and shown in the Grant
of Easement document on file in the City Clerk's office and On Exhibit "A"' attached
hereto and made apart hereof, and
WHEREAS granting the easement requested by the Edison Company will not interfere
with the existing improvements or any improvements planned for the future and will be
in the best interest of the public.
NOW THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs,
California as follows:
Section 1. Granting an easement to Southern California Edison Company in a
form approved by the City Attorney, for underground eiectrical facilities
at the location described and shown in the Grant of Easement
document on file in the City Clerk's office and on Exhibit"A" attached '
hereto and made apart hereof, is hereby approved.
Section 2. The City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute the
Grant of Easement document on behalf of the City of Palm Springs.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to record said Grant of Easement in
the Office of the County Recorder of Riverside County.

A 10 foot wide strip of land lying within a portion of Section 7, Township 4
South, Range 5 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in the City of Palm Springs,
County of Riverside, State of California, being 5.00 feet on each_side of the following
described centerline:
Commencing at the Southwest comer of said Section 7, thence North 56' 55' 42"
East a distance of 1,648.17 feet, more or less, to a point which is 1,080.00 feet left
of Palm Springs Airport Runway 13R/31L centerline at Runway station
96+79.56; thence North 53' 27' 47"-East a distance of 240.39 feet; thence along a
reverse tangent curve inn -a counterclockwise direction having a radius of 38.00
feet, an angle of 224' 50' 20", a length of 149.12 feet; thence along a curve to the
' right having a radius of 17.00 feet, an angle of 44' 50' 20", and a length of 13.30
feet; thence North 53' 27'47" East a distance of 168.31 feet; thence along a curve
to the right having a radius of 17.00 feet, an angle of 98' 26' 08", and a length of
24.20 feet; thence South 28° 06'05" East a distance of 70.52 feet; thence along a
curve to the left having a radius of 180.00 feet, an angle of 40' 32' 09", and a
length of 127.35 feet; thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 120.00
feet, an angle of 40' 32'09", and a length of 84.90 feet; thence South 28' 06' 05"
East a distance of 472.00 feet to a point; thence Northeasterly, at right angles to
said previous course, a distance of 5.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
thence North 28' 06' 05" West 472.00 feet to a point; thence along a curve to the
left having a radius of 120.00 feet, an angle of 40' 32' 09" and a length of 84.90
feet; thence along a curve to die right having a radius of 180.00 feet, an angle of

distance of 125.00 feet to die beginning of a tangent curve concave to the North
and having a radius of 12.50 feet; thence along said tangent curve Northerly 12.50

less, to the beginning of a tangent curve concave to the Northwest and having a
radius of 12.50 feet; thence Northwest along said tangent curve 12.50 feet, more
or less to a point; thence North 28' 06' 05" West 45.00 feet, more or less, to the
point of terminus of this description.
