OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS,
CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
ALL OF THE RIGHT TITLE AND INTEREST OF SAID CITY
IN PART OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR TACHEVAH DRIVE
' IN SECTION 7, T4SR5E.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Palm Springs is authorized by the Public Streets,
Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law, Part 3, Division 9, of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California to vacate and close to public use streets or parts of streets within
the limits of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council intends to vacate and close to the public that part of the right-of-
way for Tachevah Drive described and shown on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and made a part
hereof, a dedicated right-of-way within the said City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council does hereby signify and declare its intention to vacate and
abandon that portion of the right-of-way for Tachevah Drive described and shown
on Exhibit "A" attached hereto a made a part hereof, a right-of-way within the
City of Palm Springs, County of Riverside, State of California.
' Section 2. That the 20th day of March of 1996 at the hour of 7:00 P.M., of said date in the
City Council Chambers at 3200 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, Palm Springs,
California be and the same is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to the said proposed street vacation, said time
not being less than fifteen days from the date of adoption of this resolution.
Section 3. That the Director of Public Works of said City is hereby directed to cause a
notice of street vacation to be conspicuously posted along the line of that portion
of the right-of-way for Tachevah Drive to be vacated, described and shown on
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, at not more than 300 feet intervals, but not less than
3 in all on said right-of-way. Such notices shall state the passage of a Resolution
of Intention and the time and place of hearing all persons interested in or
objecting to the proposed vacation.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to cause this Resolution of Intention to be
published in a manner prescribed by law for the publication of ordinances of the
said City.
