HomeMy WebLinkAbout18233 - RESOLUTIONS - 11/17/1993 i RESOLUTION NO. 18233 ' OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, APPROVING AIRPORT STANDARD FORM COMMERCIAL BUSINESS OPERATOR PERMIT #93-002A, AND AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF AVIATION TO EXECUTE SAID PERMITS. WHEREAS the Palm Springs Regional Airport has established a vendor cart program as an expansion of the concessions at the Airport; and WHEREAS research of other airport vendor cart programs has revealed that a month-to-month r` permit, rather than a lease, provides the greatest flexibility for the Airport in administering a cart program; and WHEREAS the Airport Commission has approved Airport Standard Form Commercial Business Operator Permit #93-002A, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows: Section 1. Airport Standard Form "Commercial Business Operator Permit #93- 002A" is hereby approved for use at the Airport for specialty merchandise cart vendors and specialty service vendors, subject to final wording by the City Attorney. Section 2. Minimum monthly fees to be paid by the vendors shall be based upon ' Request For Proposal submittals. Section 3. The Director of Aviation is hereby authorized to execute said "Permits" on behalf of the City of Palm Springs. ADOPTED this 17th day of November 1993.
