HomeMy WebLinkAbout18169 - RESOLUTIONS - 9/1/1993 RESOLUTION NO. 18169 / r" OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 17796, AS AMENDED, TO ESTABLISH NEW FEES FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT TO DEFRAY THE COST OF STAFF AND SUPPORT SERVICES. WHEREAS on February 19, 1992,die City Council adlopted Resolution 17796; and WHEREAS Resolution 17796 is the City's Comprehensive Fee Schedule;and WHEREAS the City Council desires to amend the Comprehensive Fee Schedule in order to establish new fees for the Fire Department,to defray the cost of staff and support services; NOW THEREFORE BE IT PMSOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, that Resolution 17796,as amended,establishing the Comprehensive Fee Schedule,is hereby further amended,by amending the following to read: Fire Department v Fees- Medical Aid $60 M Refuse Fire $40 Vegetation Fire a) Less than 1 acre $160 b) Greater than I acre $280 Commercial Structure Fire $500 Outside Structure(fences,storage sheds,etc.) $160 Fire(not otherwise designated) $80 Per 2-person company per hour Hazardous Materials $80 Per 2-person company per hour Vehicle Fire $80 Patient Assist $40 Flooding $80 v Permits- Permits to operate a business or event as defined by An.icic 4, $60 Uniform Fire Code Engine company inspections shall not require a fee for the $40 initial inspection and the first re-inspection. If further inspections are required to gain compliance the permit fee will be levied. Any and all other inspections performed by the Fire Inspector $40 (referred by the engine company).
