OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY FOR
ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 157 IN SECTION
19.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, has previously adopted ,
its Resolution of intention pursuant to the provisions of the "Municipal Improvement Act of
1913", being Division 12 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, for the
construction of certain public improvements, together with appurtenances and acquisitions, where
necessary, in a special assessment district known and designated as ASSESSMENT' DISTRICT +
NO. 157 (hereinafter referred to as the "Assessment District'); and
WHEREAS in order to accomplish construction of the work of improvements in the Assessment
District, it is necessary to acquire certain property, being more particularly described in Exhibit
"A" attached hereto, for construction purposes; and

WHEREAS the City has established the amounts which it believes to be the just compensation
for the property sought to be acquired; and
WHEREAS pursuant to Government Code §7267.2, the City has offered to the owners of the
real property, or interests therein, full amount established as just compensation for the properly
sought to be acquired; and
WHEREAS the owners of the real property have accepted the offer presented by the City and
agreed to grant the property needed to construct the Assessment District improvements.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs,
California, as follows: r
Section 1. That the acquisition of property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
is hereby approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign all
documents approved by the City Attorney as to 'Form on behalf of the City
of Palm Springs, necessary to consummate the acquisition of the property
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby authorized to accept the Deed and arrange
for the Deed to be recorded in the County Recorders Office on behalf of
the City of Palm Springs.
ADOPTED this 4th day of March 1992.

filed per MB 14, Page 652, San Diego County Records, filed for record March 15, 1946 in MB
20, Page 86, Records of Riverside County and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 3 as shown on said map;
Thence South 0'00'30" West 10.00 feet along the East line of said Lot 3 to a point on a line
that is parallel with and 10.00 feet distant Southerly, measured at right angles from the North
line of said Lot 3;
Thence North 89°41'00" West 345.89 feet along said parallel line to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southeast and having a radius of 20.00 feet;
" Thence Southwesterly along said curve, 31.52 feet, through a central angle of 90'18'30", to a

Thence North 0°00'30" East along said West line 10.00 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
