Home My WebLink About17546 - RESOLUTIONS - 6/19/1991 1 RESOLUTION NO. 17546 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE FEE SCHEDULE ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION 16319, AS AMENDED, ADDING AND AMENDING CERTAIN FEES FOR SERVICE. WHEREAS, by Resolution 16319,, Lhe City Council established a Comprehensive Fee Schedule prescribing the amount of fees, payments, and deposits chargeable for certain programs, facilities, and other miscellaneous governmental and proprietary services; and WHEREAS the staff, in conjunction with the implementation of budgeted application processing,, recreation program use, and facility use, has reviewed City costs to implement and sustain those programs; and WHEREAS the staff recommends amendments and additions to the Comprehensive Fee Schedule. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVEID by the City Council of the City of Palm Springs, California, that Resolution 16319 as amended is hereby further amended to add the following; PARKS & RECREATION The base rental rates, deposits, or fees, for Angel Stadium, J.C. Frey Building, Leisure Center Community Room, Leisure. Center Dance Studio, Swim Center, Picnic Area, Pavilion , and Showmobile sections, are further amended to provide a 10% increase, effective July 1, 1991, in the "Standard" and "Tax-exempt/non-profit" categories, as reflected in the attached Exhibit A, and all other fees and/or rates contained in the "Parks & Recreation" category shall remain unchanged , and in effect. The fees will reflect actual casts to the City and are applied, in addition to Application and Location fees. Application and Location Fees may be waived for companies making available to the City production and airtime at no charge for no less than six public service announcements annually. Because fees paid in advance can only be an estimate, the final costs usually are different from pre-payment. _ Fees will be incorrect when a shoot takes more or fewer days then planned.
