OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM SPRINGS, CAL:IFORNIA APPROVING
THE SALE TO MICHAEL & BERNADETTE
LIGMAN THE PREMISES LOCATED AT 3305
SUNNY DUNES ROAD IN SECTION 19.
WHEREAS the City owned premises at 3305 Sunny Dunes Road was
declared to be surplus property by Resolution No. 17434, adopted
February 20, 1991; and
WHEREAS it has been determined, that: the premises qualifies under
the government code: sections regulating the sale: of surplus
properties to low or moderate income households and should be a
part of the 'City's affordable housing program; and
WHEREAS Michael A. & Bernadette M. Ligman meets the legal
requirements of a moderate income family and has offered to
purchase the premises at the appraised value of $59 , 000 according
to the written offer to purchase on file with the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of the City of
Palm Springs, as follows:
Section 1. Sale of the premises located at 3305 Sunny Dunes
Road to Michael A. & Bernadette M. Ligman for the
sum of $59, 000 is hereby approved.
Section 2 . The City Manager and City Clerk of the City of Palm
Springs are hereby authorized to execute any and
all documents to consummate the sale of the subject
premises.
Section 3 . The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
to execute a grant, deed conveying said premises to ,
Michael A. and Bernadette M. Ligman.
Section 4 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized to arrange for
the deed to be; recorded on behalf of the City of
Palm Springs.
